Maria Balsimo
Maria’s passion for health and fitness is rooted in her athletic experiences and commitments starting at a young age. She is a second-degree black belt in Karate, and she played Division II soccer as an undergraduate at Bemidji State University. Maria has most recently participated in triathlons and various charitable races.
Maria’s passions have translated into her career. Aside from personal training, Maria is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist who specializes in pediatrics. In both her professions, Maria enjoys the opportunity to work with others holistically through her client’s individual interests. She places great value on healthy living and helping her client’s achieve better health through their internal values and motivation.
Maria’s degrees and certificates include: BA in Psychology, Masters in Occupational Therapy, American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, WASI/NASE Worldwide Certified Open Water SCUBA Diver, and CPR certified by the American Heart Association.
